Path of Exile 2 Rarity Drop Calculator Tool

Use this tool to calculate the drop rate of various currencies in Path of Exile 2, based on the map tier and item rarity.

Follow the simple steps below to understand how to use the calculator:

1. Navigate to the Tool Page

Head over to the "Tool" page where you'll find three interactive fields to input the required information for calculating your drop chances.

2. Select the Map Tier

The first field asks for your Map Tier. Tiers are grouped, meaning that the rarity increase between them occurs in steps. For example, the difference between Tier 1 and Tier 3 is small, but the increase between Tier 5 and Tier 6 is much larger. Choose the map tier based on your current map.

3. Enter Gear and Map + Atlas Rarity

The next two fields allow you to input Rarity values. One field is for the rarity from your gear and the other for the combined rarity from your Map, Tablet, and Atlas.

How to Find Your Gear's Total Rarity:

If you don't want to manually calculate your gear's total rarity, you can easily find it in the game! Simply inspect any skill in your skill bar, and hover over the skill icon. You'll see the Total Rarity Chance of your gear in the statistics, such as damage, range, area, etc.

4. Click Calculate

Once all fields are filled, click Calculate to see the updated drop chances. The results will be displayed in a table showing:

Drop Chance (%): This is the updated chance of dropping a currency, factoring in the Rarity values you’ve provided.
Base Drop Chance: This is the drop chance with a Total Rarity of 0 (no extra rarity added).

5. Understand the Results
